This 2002 E320 Wagon can be found listed in San Jose, CA on Craigslist for $7,500. The w210 wagons (s210) have become more popular from a value stand-point than their non-AMG spec sedan siblings. Low mileage examples have recently brought low to high teens consistently for the last year now. While this example does have 95k-miles on the clock, it's still worth noting that it's well optioned in a desirable color. Tectite grey (753) in our opinion was the successor color to the infamous black pear (blue black metallic 199) paint color from the late 80s and 90s which was commonly found on AMG models. The interior contrasts nicely with Java leather (214) and as a bonus comes well optioned. Notably, the car is equipped with factory xenons, 3rd row rear-folding seats, has both heated and ventilated front seats, and is rear-wheel-drive. The majority of wagons were 4matic. While the 4matic system is highly capable, it's hard to resist having all the power sent to the rear wheels for your driving pleasure.
The selling dealer states that this is a 1-owner, accident-free example. All service has been done at the Mercedes-Benz dealer which is another really good sign that this car has been well cared for it's entire life. The seller also states that the car drives perfectly and the car is in excellent condition all around. New tires were recently mounted and appear to be Continentals. Lastly, all books and manuals accompany the car with two keys and the seller states price is negotiable... This wagon comes in rare form and should make for an excellent ride for years to come.
