Clean Coupe Alert! 2000 CLK320 with 49k Miles

The W208 CLK often makes for good discussion on the MB Market for a number of good reasons. From value proposition to rarity, and performance, the first generation of CLK had a lot to offer. This specific 2000 CLK320 can be found here on Craigslist showing 49k miles listed for an asking price of $7,900.

Yes, we know...its a 320 but hear us out. The M112 is a fuel sipping workhorse of a V6 that requires minimal maintenance and much less restraint compared to the CLK55’s. In short, we like it because it’s slower and enables the driver to live at higher revs more frequently. The M112 wasn’t a slouch at 215 horsepower. 60 miles per hour was still achieved in the high 6’s and if speed isn’t your addiction, close to 30 miles per gallon can be achieved during highway cruising.

All this being said, a CLK320 should be equally as tempting in the looks department as the AMG lines. Often the 320s missed that mark and came across as boring or stodgy. This one however is presented nicely with an interesting paint color, decent options, and a clean set of Monoblocks. Finished in Black Opal Pearl (189) over Anthracite leather, this W2308 stands out compared to silver or black CLK320’s. The interior shows nicely and the low mileage is evident right down to the well kept OEM floor mats. Options include Xenon headlamps, a rear sunshade, and heated seats.

For the price, this CLK is hard to beat, especially if horsepower isn’t at the top of the shopping list. It’s sure to retain its value and as long as it’s kept as nice as it currently sits, the next owner shouldn’t be afraid of driving it. We would just advice the next owner get rid of the AMG badge on the decklid.
