Sand Nappa Leather, CPO Designo: 2014 E350 4Matic Wagon

In a world of black, white, and silver it's refreshing to see some of the unique combinations from Designo spec'd Benzes. We admittedly really like the facelift w212, especially in wagon form. Well anything in wagon form is typically better but we digress. This 2014 E350 is not only a wagon, but also a very rare Designo Mystic Brown (052) over two-toned Designo Sand Nappa and Anthracite Leather (X10). Even the steering wheel is wrapped in the Designo Two-Toned Sand Nappa leather and we can confidently say this is a first time seeing this on a w212. In addition, the Designo Natural Curly Maple Wood trim (W10) compliments the interior colors perfectly. Fun fact, as part of the Designo trim, the headliner is option code Y41 which is a special headliner in black dinamica microfibre. For the Designo options alone, you'd be charged $2,380 but honestly, it's worth it. We can't recall another w212 in this color combination and it really does stand out from the crowd.

Currently this E350 wagon sits with 45k miles and is Certified Pre-Owned. CPO cars do tend to command a higher price and typically come with an extended warranty... it's worth asking.

The selling dealer is asking $29,589 and we're willing to bet if you want this color you likely won't find another one any cheaper, or at all for that matter. The 3.5L V6 producing 302hp can sprint this family hauler to 60mph in 5.8 seconds.

This example is the Luxury Version which comes with a slightly softer suspension and higher ride height compared to the Sport Versions. The bumpers and side skirts are also more modest and simple in design when compared to the Sport. In a perfect world, we'd have Mercedes offer the Sport Versions with the Luxury grill but that's just our opinion... and you know what they say about opinions.

It's also worth discussing the options on this E350 wagon. Right from the start, you know the car is equipped with the LED lighting package, a $1,500 option, as the headlights are a dead giveaway. The hockey stick headlights are actually some of our favorites from the modern era Benzes. The Premium 1 Package provides the driver with COMAND including navigation and a Harmon Kardon Logic 7 sound system which was a $3,370 option. The car is also equipped with the folding third row, rear-facing seats, 360° camera, Distronic plus with Steering Assist ($2,800 option), Parktronic ($1,290 option), panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats ($450 option). Hats off to the lad who ordered this w212 from the factory for originality and style. If you're trying to keep total, the total MSRP on this family hauler was $78,115 which is likely the most expensive w212 you could get without opting for an AMG.
