Super clean, low mileage, and well priced: 2000 E55 AMG

Listed on an AMG cars & parts for sale page on Facebook by Mario Sanfilippo (seller), this 2000 E55 AMG is located in Wisconsin and has only 59k-miles. The seller is asking a very reasonable $14,000. The exterior is finished in black 040 over two-tone red and black leather. Based on what we can tell from the photos, this example appears to be free from many of the typical wear and tear issues that we normally find. The wheels appear to be near perfect with no visible curb rash. Two new Michelin Pilot Sport tires were recently fitted and that's always a good sign. The car is stated to come with maintenance records and documentation for the mileage.

The seller states the A/C works perfectly along with the climate control and navigation. The original floor mats are still with the car which are piped with the same red stitching to match the leather inserts. The only notable issues we know of is a headliner which is beginning to sag (typical for this model) and the SRS light is illuminated on the dash. The seller says this is due to the telematics being disabled, however, we think it could also be the sensor under the passenger seat.

The leather on the steering wheel looks excellent. This is a sure sign of a car well-cared for. The black birds-eye maple woodgrain appears to be free from cracking and only very minor fading around the center console. It would be worth verifying the cup holder retracts properly as that was another weak point on the w210. An in-person inspection for any rust would be a must as these cars are also notorious for rust issues. On the dash, all pixels appear to work which is another rarity at this age. All things considered, this is a very clean example and with such low mileage, the asking price seems very reasonable. Examples like this are becoming few and far between so if you're in the market you might not want to sleep on this one.
