Well-Preserved Manual: 59k-km 1992 300CE 24v

Freshly imported by our friends over at RMC Miami, this 1992 300CE 24V appears to be in immaculate condition all around. The car is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over Black Leather interior, a very desirable color combination. It's listed as a 1-owner example from new and has only 59k kms (36k miles) on the odometer. Judging from the pictures, mileage is definitely accurate. It's rare to find a 24V stateside, much less in this great of condition.

The interior really seals the deal for us on this car. Not only does the leather appear to be barely touched, the woodgrain is near perfect. The color is still rich and no cracking is visible which is a good sign the car has spent it's life indoors. In the photos, you can see the car is idling with perfect temp and all gauges are in working order.

The paint appears to match the interior in condition and retains it's gloss. No clear coat issues or the typical bumper scrapes seen on most W124s today will be found on this example. We love the car still wears it's original Mercedes 8-hole wheels. As a euro spec, the headlights are one solid piece which we prefer over the US spec from both a visual and utility standpoint.

Pillarless coupes are always worth raging about. All four windows can be rolled down so your rear seat passengers can enjoy the breeze as well. The car has a few notable options including the sought after 5-speed manual dogleg transmission, sunroof delete, and LSD. The 5-speed is mated to an M104 inline-six displacing 3.0 liters and features dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. When new Mercedes-Benz rated the 300CE-24 at 220 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

If you're in the market for a W124, this one is certainly one of the nicest we've come across. In many ways, it looks like a time capsule and the seller states the car is ready to go. Price won't be cheap but it's rare and clean enough to command a premium. Interested parties should reach out to RMC Miami for additional information.
